Oh man... haven't posted a new Wale song in a minute. I really like this track though. Its supposed to be on his new mixtape. I'm OD tired. Going to sleep. Peace readers.
So this is of topic.. but i was in philly last weekend. AND LOVED IT!!!!! i mean the guys are FINE ( especially at temple).. i was not down with the whole beanie sigel facial hair, and long beard look... but to each its own... would you recommend moving to philly???
Ummm... that's a difficult question to answer. I've only been in Philly for about two and a half years and its been a love/hate relationship since the beginning. There's a lot of culture here, if that makes any sense. And every city has its areas, even though I'm pretty sure Philly has more than most.
Philly's proximity to both DC and New York is too perfect, though. And depending on where you live and how you feel about having roommates, rent has potential to be dirt cheep. I guess at the end of the day, I would recommend it with a huge "proceed with caution sign.
If that's the move for you, best advice is to find a spot near or damn near on a college campus.
Oh, and network. Hopefully you're so willing to jump cities for business and not bulls**t. It's all about who you know up here. Be 100% yourself and ride those nights that don't end until 7am out. And always remember that you're in the hood, even when you're not.
Oh s**t... you should've said that in the beginning. Penn is definitely the move. "That side" of town is the place to be. I highly suggest coming out here now that you've added that little detail. lol.
had me rambling on and on... i feel dumb as s**t now. lol.
