On Thursday October 9, 2008 from 6-9pm celebrate Latino Heritage Month with Centro Nueva Creacion and Arbol Cafe through powerful photos of hope, peace, and perserverance created by children enrolled in The Goodlands Community Arts Program.
The Artists, ages 5-13, will be present from 6-8pm to discuss their work with those in attendance. Tickets to the event will be $10. The money raised will provide children of the Goodlands with much needed audio/visual equipment for a new and important project in digital storytelling. Equipment needs includes camcorders, microphones, headphones, and DVD's.
Come and experience one of the city's greatest strengths- young people and their vision for the future. There will also be food provided by Arbol Cafe, live entertainment, fun activities for all ages, and giveaways. Join us to celebrate the brilliance of young Latino artists from The Goodlands!
